Professional Bio
Celeste Kelley is a Young Adult author from the Washington, D.C. Metro area who enjoys writing about headstrong Black characters in high society. Her writing journey began with picture books during the pandemic, which led her to work with Lerner Books, launching her 5+ year publishing career. More recently, Celeste jumped at the chance to adventure into novels and take on IP work. She holds a Master of Liberal Arts from Harvard University.

Hi there, I'm Celeste Kelley. When I was younger, my parents made the fortunate mistake of telling me I could be whatever I wanted, which led me into a life of pursuing my passions and achieving previously unthinkable goals, like becoming an author. I love writing about headstrong characters, elite societies or schools, and narratives where acquaintances beyond the grave held guide the way. Some of my favorite things include:
